Our mission is to develop a community spirit by helping people to get in shape to be safe and also build life skills and character of a true martial artist.
Developing important values such as courtesy, patience, respect, self-control and integrity.
At UK Martial Arts Association we teach a combination of techniques to provide students with a realistic personal protection system for a modern world.
The martial arts we teach instils discipline, respect, focus, and other character building values as well as teaching the students fundamental techniques of self defence.
Self Defence & Fitness
Knowing that self defence and fighting are totally different situations we teach our students techniques used in all ranges of our realistic fighting the range includes a full system even grappling whist getting in shape.
By combining these realistic and effective systems of martial arts a student will be able to defend themselves in any situation they may actually find themselves.
Where most martial arts focus on one area of technique i.e. stand up fighting our syllabus teaches all aspects of defence including grappling and weapons.
Your fitness levels will increase due to a balanced exercise regime of our programme every muscle group is strengthened and defined with the movement of techniques and training drills that are part of our system. |
